Yesterday I wrote about New gTLDs branding – today I’ve this question in my mind. Whatever be the fate of coming new gTLDs – is the domaining community which involves domainers, domain bloggers, domain brokers and those who closely love .com and other old extensions are guilty of unnecessarily airing their negative views with regards to thousands of new gTLDs expected to come out in the near future? I think – to some extent it’s the case. General people who don’t know much about domains may feel negative about new gTLDs when they read that it may fail to replace the .com or other extensions. \
It is likely true that the new gTLDs will be having a tough time to compete with already existing TLDs and ccTLDs but I believe that the huge amount of online users which are growing everyday may adapt new gTLDs which are very relevant to them in order to set their online chronicles.
